A shooting at an Indianapolis bar early Saturday morning left one man dead and five others injured, according to the city's police department.
Officers in the area responded to the Landsharks bar, in Indianapolis' Broad Ripple neighborhood north of downtown, after gunshots were heard around 1 a.m. They found five injured men, one of whom later died after being taken to a local hospital.
A sixth gunshot victim drove himself to the hospital, and investigators determined the man had also been injured at the bar.
In a social media post Saturday morning, Police Chief Chris Bailey said he was "deeply disturbed by the tragic incident early this morning that resulted in one life lost and others injured."

Detectives are actively investigating the shooting, Bailey said. Police are still searching for suspects.
